Musician's Injuries - Types and How to Avoid It

Monday September 19, 2005
Recently, while I was cooking lunch, I accidentally tipped the frying pan and hot oil poured onto my left hand, scalding my pinky and ring finger. I sustained second degree burns from that little accident and had to refrain from moving my left hand too much as it was too painful. Needless to say, (but I will still say it), I had to stop practicing the piano for days. Something good came out of this painful experience, I came up with an idea for an article on "Musician's Injruies - Types and How to Avoid It". Read on and be informed.
This Day In Music History: 1705 - Flemish composer and band master Henri-Jacques de Croes was born.
