Top 5 Piano Method Books for Children - Age 7 and Up

Friday September 23, 2005
I have posted my Top Picks for Piano Method Books meant for children age 7 and over. The books are all primer or beginner levels and the ones I listed are 5 of the best piano books in the market today. It's very important to lay a solid foundation for beginning music students. The books I've mentioned are easy enough to understand so that you ,as a parent or guardian, will be able to teach your child the basics of piano playing with no difficulty. It would also be a good supplement for whatever material your child is using if he/she is enrolled in music lessons. Do you have a child who is starting to take piano lessons? Have you or your child used any piano method book that you really liked? Tell us about it by posting to the Forum.

If you would like to start teaching your child even earlier than 7, I highly recommend these piano method books: piano books for children. With this method you start teaching children from the age of 2-3. It is just amazing
