This Day In Music History: Today is Veteran's Day, a time to honor all the brave men and women who served in the US Armed Forces during the war. Here are some World War 2 music favorites for you to listen to or play on your instrument.
  • Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree - Lyrics and chords of Glenn Miller's old time favorite.
  • The White Cliffs of Dover - Has lyrics and music of Walter Kent's music which you can sing along to.
  • For Old Time's Sake - This is a website that has midi files of old time favorites. Click on the song "Sentimental Journey", this was popularized by Doris Day in the 1940's and another WW2 music favorite. Here is the lyrics to the song.
