Free Christmas Music for the Harp

Friday December 23, 2005
I have always been fascinated with the harp. The harp is one of the most beautiful sounding musical instrument I know and one which I also hope to learn in the future. Unfortunately, the harp isn't as popular as other instruments such as the violin or piano and finding a harp teacher can be very difficult. Nevertheless, I've included a free music sheet of Adeste Fidelis for those learning to play the harp. I've also included some Christmas mp3's so you can hear how beautfiul a harp sounds. These mp3's were recorded by the talented harpist Sally Fletcher. There is a brief history of the featured music, click on the download link to listen to it. Enjoy!

This Day in Music History: 1893 - The opera "Hansel and Gretel" was produced.
