String Instruments

The string family of instruments are as varied as the sound they produce. String instruments have been in existence longer than other music instruments and it has undergone many changes through the years. Here are several more profiles of string instruments:

Music Education In The News: Here's an interesting news about Collin DeJong, a young musician and composer who will be performing one of his original pieces with the MHS band at the Fellheimer Auditorium this coming May 7. This Day In Music History: 1891 - In New York, the Carnegie Hall opened with Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky as guest conductor.
