Signs and Symbols in Music

In music, signs and symbols are used to tell the musician how to play a certain music piece, such as how slow or fast and how soft or loud. These signs are indicated on the music sheet and it is very important to learn the specific symbols and their respective meaning in order to play a music piece properly. Check out this table for graphical music signs, words signifying tempo and dynamic signs.
