All About the Saxophone

Saxophones come in a variety of sizes and types: like the soprano saxophone, the alto sax, tenor sax and the baritone sax. Considered to be newer than other musical instruments in terms of its' music history, the saxophone was invented by Antoine-Joseph (Adolphe) Sax. Here are several resources about saxophones:

    I never knew Hector Berlioz had such a connection with the observation of the initial creation of the saxophone. Also it’s amazing that Adolphe Sax’s first creation was a bass saxophone. That’’s awesome.

    Your defining a late but direct connection of the saxophone with classical music. Obviously the saxophone has a life in both classical as well as jazz music.
