Richard Rodgers is known for his musical comedies and his successful collaborations with librettists; namely Lorenz Hart and Oscar Hammerstein II. His works include about 40 Broadway musicals and over 900 songs, winning him numerous accolades including two Pulitzers. His works include "The Sound of Music," "Oklahoma!" and "Carousel."
