The Curtis Institute of Music
Saturday June 28, 2008
Founded in 1924, the Curtis Institute of Music based in Philadelphia is one of the leading music conservatoires that offers merit-based full-tuition scholarships. The number of students is kept very small compared to other music schools in the United States. Teachers guide their students under the philosophy that they "learn most by doing," that's why students are given ample opportunities to showcase what they've learned.
