The Sound Technician

Sunday July 20, 2008
We often see these guys during a concert. They are the ones who go up on stage before a performance and conduct mic checks. We see them hauling large cables and adjusting the levers or knobs of a mxing console. They are sound technicians, the people who makes sure every sound or audio can be heard as clearly and well-balanced as possible during a performance.

This Day in Music History: 1964 - The composer Dmitry Shostakovich completed his 10th string quartet.
