The field of music is as diverse as the many different music genres that have emerged and evolved. One such music-related career path is that of an accompanist. Although accompanists play a supporting role, there is no doubt that they make a singer's performance fuller and more powerful.
This Day in Music History: 1826 - Composer Carl Maria von Weber died in London, England due to tuberculosis. He became music director in various theaters, most notably at the Prague Opera in 1813.
