Guidelines for Submission

  • We are looking for well-written articles about music education, preferably, on a topic not yet covered on this site.

  • You can submit articles which have been previously published on other sites unless it already has a wide distribution. If this is the case, you can just email the link to your article to musiced.guide@about.com.

  • Your article must have a maximum of 2,000 words, written in an easy to read format and free of grammar and spelling errors. About Music Education reserves the right to edit the piece for clarity and consistency.

  • You retain all rights to your article and only grant About Music Education to publish or reprint your article. At this time, About Music Education is not a paying market, but your article will bear your name as well as a link to your website, publication and other projects that you may have as long as it's appropriate.

  • To submit, please fill out the Article Submission Form. You will be notified if and when your article is considered for publication.
Thank you for your interest and we look forward to reading your article.
