Carol of the Day
Many songwriters have been inspired by the places they've been to and created songs which shows how travelling to that place touched them. Such is the case with the author of "O Little Town of Bethlehem" which started out as a poem based on the authors' visit to the said town.
Composer of the Day

Today in Music History
On this day in 2007, Caroke King attended the 9th annual "A Home for the Holidays" at REN-MAR studios in Los Angeles. King is certainly one of the artists who inspired and defined the role of a singer-songwriter. Her well-crafted lyrics, captivating melodies and her unique voice make her songs timeless. She is the artist behind hits like "So Far Away" and "It's Too Late" and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1987.

U-Dance - Compare Prices - When buying or giving toys, I make it a point to choose those that encourage creativity and movement. That is why the U-Dance interactive dancing game from Hasbro caught my eye. This game system is different from other dance games available in the market today. Plug the U-Dance game into your TV, strap on the motion sensor tags and watch as your movements are translated onto the screen in real time. No dance mat needed; you can dance more freely and fluidly to new tunes as well as old time faves. Recommended for kids 8 and up.
