The Top 10

On the latest airing of America's Got Talent we saw the 10 chosen acts performing again. The 10 acts which America voted into the finals are:

  • Julienne Irwin - This 14-year old singer has a very beautiful voice but she has to be careful with her song choices. Her latest performance according to the judges, although admirable, wasn't as good as her prior ones.

  • Butterscotch - Beatboxed and sang “It’s Your Thing”. Unlike her previous performances where she emphasized her beatboxing skills, this time Butterscotch decided to highlight her singing which received positive reviews from the judges.

  • The Glamazons - They gave a sizzling performance of "Fever" which the judges approved of. Sharon points out that though they weren't the best singers in the competition their confidence carries their performance.

  • Robert Hatcher - He sang "Because You Love Me", a song that seemed to be too high for his vocal range. Nevertheless the judges liked his performance and stage presence.

  • Sideswipe - I think regular viewers of AGT were puzzled as I was when they started their performance with just 3 guys. Eventually the 4th guy appeared with several kids who performed as well. The kids did a great job but the judges didn't like it saying that is was chaotic.

  • Terry Fator - This ventriloquist/impersonator/singer does a remarkable performance of “Unforgettable” with his puppet Emma.

  • The Calypso Tumblers- These guys did what they do best - tumbling. Their energetic number to the tune of “The Rhythm’s Going to Get You” was well-received by the judges.

  • Jason Pritchett - Sang "When You Say Nothing At All” while playing the guitar. Both judges liked his performance but Piers told him to venture out of his comfort zone.

  • Cas Haley - This guy's voice is very powerful and he always gives strong performances whether it be reggae or blues. Piers however told Cas that he preferred he stick to reggae.

  • The Duttons - They performed "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" which received approval from the judges except Piers who buzzed them because he didn't like the sound of the violins.

The next episode of "America's Got Talent" will reveal the remaining 8 acts, who will it be?
