Vocabulary	Eighth Note
Music History	Henry Purcell was born.
Activity	Draw an eighth note and discuss its' difference between a whole note, a half note and a quarter note. Say the name of a particular note and have student draw the corresponding note on the board or on his music notebook. Make mathematical equations using the notes and ask student to provide the answers. (i.e. 1 half note + 1 half note = ?)
