Virtual Museum of Music Inventions - This website features exhibits and videos of homemade musical instruments created by students. It also has instrument reviews submitted by students and "A Unit on Sound;" a lesson plan which incorporates music to teach science,

IEEE Virtual Museum - From IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.), this website has text and illustrations on the history of electronic music, the age of electronic organ and other relevant facts.

National Music Museum - This is the virtual museum of The University of South Dakota; it has collections of musical instruments from America, Europe and elsewhere. They have quite a big collection, you might get lost along the way. But don't worry, they have an interactive map to guide you.

Virtual Instrument Museum - From the Music Department of Weslayan University comes this virtual museum of world music instruments. Instruments are also classified according to genre or ensemble. Very interesting website if you want to learn about the history of musical instruments and world music.

Music Museum of New England - Founded by Harry Sandler, Steve Nelson, Michael Fondo and Gary Sohmers. This virtual museum, which pays tribute to New England artists, features bios, sound and video clips.
