  • Instrumentalist:

    Instrument Maker:

    An instrument maker is one who builds, constructs, designs, and even repair music instruments. He/she has undergone extensive training and education in order to become a skilled instrument maker.     Librettist:

    The librettist writes the libretto or the words that would be set to music in a stage production such as an opera. The librettist works closely with the composer, making sure that the words complement the music and vice versa. Also see Types of Opera.

    Managing Artists:

    The artist manager wears many hats; he is a businessman who sees to it that the artist he's managing has a steady stream of income-generating projects. He is a promoter who helps spread the word about his artist, creating attention through posters and radio or tv interviews. He is also a friend who makes sure his artist takes good care of himself and works hard in order to perform at his best.
