Founded by May Garrettson Evans in 1894, the Peabody Preparatory is a community school for the performing arts that is open for children and adults alike. The Peabody Conservatory offers the following degree programs:
Bachelor of Music - Majors in composition, early music instruments, guitar, keyboard, jazz, orchestral instruments and voice.Master of Music - Majors in computer music composition, conducting, early music, musicology, music education, music theory/pedagogy, performance and performance/pedagogy.Other Degrees/Programs Offered:
The Conservatory also offers the Bachelor of Music in Recording Arts and Sciences, Master of Music, Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Arts in Audio Sciences.
