Birthplace: Probably in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
Died: December 24, 1453
Also known as: Dunstaple, he was one of the first composers to use counterpoint.
Type of Compositions: Mostly sacred pieces.
Musical Work: Some of his known works are: two complete masses, three incomplete masses, 14 individual mass sections, 12 complete isorythmic motets (eg. Veni Sancte Spiritus}, 27 liturgical text.
Interesting Fact: Dunstable served the Duke of Bedford.
