If you play an instrument, love to perform and a "people person," becoming a professional musician might be a career choice  for you.T here are many career options for a professional musician; they can be session musicians who provide music for film, TV or ads, they can play in a band or an orchestra. They can also be general musicians who performs in various functions such as birthdays, weddings and anniversaries.

This Day in Music History: 1963 - On this day, James Brown released the album Live at the Apollo, Vol. 1. He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2000.

And do not forget, a music teacher is also a good career! There are other jobs that are also interesting and unique. A musician who can compose music can work for companies making commercial jingles on T.V. and radio. They may also end up writing video game music for various gaming companies.
If a child loves music he or she needs to dream big and practice, practice, practice!
