The "Games" section features several games guided by Ditto the Lyre Bird. In the Music Maze you can test your listening skills by choosing the instrument that you hear playing. In the Sound Collection Game you will be quizzed on your knowledge of the various musical instruments covered in the program.The accompanying teachers guide is a wealth of additional information (including answer keys) allowing the educator to tailor the lessons to the needs of his/her students.
I found the videos very informative and interesting, especially learning about instruments I haven't heard of or seen before. Thus, I would have preferred the videos to be longer. Although there were times when the volume was inconsistent (i.e. audio on videos was louder than audio on the games section) the quality of this program is excellent. Indeed, "Travels With Music" makes learning an adventure.
Note that this review is for the online version, so if you're planning on choosing this format, a fast, reliable internet connection is advisable.
